Fair Trade

The Fair Trade social movement works to support producers in developing countries to achieve fair wages and working conditions while improving the sustainability of their working processes. The movement works to promote equitable trading conditions between producers in developing countries and consumers in developed countries. This movement commonly manifests itself in marks of Fair Trade certified production on consumer products. The movement primarily educates consumers in developed countries to shift their support to fair trade producers.
