About

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) was founded in 1933 on the suggestion of Albert Einstein. The organisation's goal is it to supply life-saving help for those who are suffering due to crises, persecution and war and to facilitate the rebuilding of their lives. The IRC works in more than 40 countries and in 2016 it supported over 26 million people worldwide by providing them with access to health care, vaccination, nourishment and education.
