Human Rights
Human rights refer to the essential rights that all people have, regardless of their identity or life circumstances. They are determined and upheld through international law, and can never be revoked without due process. Basic human rights include civil liberties, such as freedom of expression, and social-cultural rights, like the opportunity to work. Unfortunately, human rights are consistently denied to people around the world, and many organizations are working to end these abuses and hold perpetrators accountable.
